  1. Hi, came across your blog in my travels. Agree with practically every one of your movie choices! Amelie was such a good movie. Wouldn’t agree with Kill Bill, but hey Uma Thurman is such an amazing actress and Tarantino is still one of my favourite directors, so it’s all good.

    • Thanks. Kill Bill gets recognition for its stellar sound track and visual creativity, and for the fact that if I hadn’t had both volumes on there, I would have had to come up with two other films :)

  2. Fair enough:) It does have an awesome sound track.

    • I think I would also list Kill Bill as one of my “guilty pleasure films”, you know, those films you are embarrassed that you watched and secretly enjoyed? that is where Kung Fu Hustle, The Protector, Secret Window, and Zombieland fit in.

  3. dude me and the wife watched “gosford park” on stuarts’ recommendation, i’m willing to bet it would be in yr top ten at least if you gave it a shot

    • Yeah, once I saw that, and saw it on everyone’s list, I decided it is next on my ‘to watch’ list.
